At night and during the day there are animals to be freely suffer their lives, keep in mind, you are a guest in their habitat, Keep their living environment clean leave nothing outside what they can eat and become ill for example plastic bags with some food in it. Do not go hiking or cycling after sunset or before sunrise attendance this is prohibited, there are wild animals in Marloth so take the care if you want to go anywhere in the dark

After Nelspruit, Malelane and Hectorspruit you see a sign on the road Marloth Park, drive further and pas this sign the next sign is TENBOSH take this exit road to Marloth Park. Follow the road until the end and you arrive at Gate 2 of Marloth Park. woon1-640x480 Upon entering you are in the central part of the house with the living area and the kitchen. From this room you can reach the patio through open doors. The house has two bedrooms both with double beds and a ensuitte bathroom. Through the stairs you come on the 1st floor where there are two single beds. the door on this floor leads to the loft above the patio. Outside next to the patio is a splash pool with filter system for the necessary cooling if needed. next to the house is a “braai” area. The house is frequented visit by many animals such as giraffes, warthogs, zebras, kudu, wildebeest, mongoos, vervet monkey and baboons. Please note that this are wild animals and also can act this way.

You can feed the animals with some apple,  but never bread.

You can also buy food for the animals in the park. Beware of Baboons they can be dangerus. If, for example after eating. Remnants of meat or chicken, than you can throw it on the patio on the ground. At night there is often a Genet kat and he eats them. There are some rules in Marloth Park which are important. One is that you should not walk in the dark through the park. Of course you may well drive the car. This is for your own safety. There are snakes in the park. Be alert to this. There are various species of insects and reptiles. We are in there their world. You’ll find no elephants, rhinos and buffalo in the park. Further more, there are spotted predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. It is recommended that you look in your shoes to check that nothing has crept in. Do not leave towels or something else on the floor because there may be something to crawl in to it. Do not put garbage outside because that is very interesting, special for animals including baboons. There is purified drinking water in the kitchen.

In Sadadu is a gas stove with oven. Furthermore all the equipment is electric. The hot water heater heats the water and there is purified water from the tap in the kitchen and can used as drinking water. The kitchen area also has a microwave and a hot water kettle. The cupboard has stoneware and at the bottom of one of the kitchen cupboards are the pots. on the wall you find parafine lamps for use the power goes off through a storm or lightning or when there is loadshedding. Further, in each bedroom and on the first floor LEDs in case there is no electricity. Sadadu has an alarm system which is managed by Field Securety this way the house is 24 hours a day monitored. also it has an panicbutton, keep always the keychain with the unit close when you are in bed, so you can use it in case of an emergency.
Field Securety employs staff that can help you and give advice. Of course you can also ask Ann. At the Elephant Road is the dump and also on the gates. We ask you to take your rubbish bags yourself to the dump or gave it to the gards at the gate this is because they are not retrieved. If you still have some food that is still good then you can put it in a separate bag and leave this for Ann she wil give it to people who need it.

 In Sadadu you find a book with all important addresses and phone numbers also there is a house phone available. You will find addresses and telephone numbers eg. A doctor, Field Securety and other emergency services. There is also a laptop with internet and WiFi in the whole house, so you can use that for your tablet or smartphone. in the phone is an Vodacom prepaid SIM card, beware you have to buy airtime from vodacom in one of the shops or the spar when it is emty, you can use the Internet to email or chat but do not install or delete anything on it.
